Judy Ganz is a retired pastor, having served the Edmonton congregation (2008-2011), followed by taking the position of Executive Director of our Moravian Board of World Mission in NA. Prior to ordained ministry she worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Geriatrics. Following retirement the end of 2017, Judy did three interim ministries (2018-2021): Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church, Cedar United Methodist Church, and Chaska Moravian Church. She continues to help out Cedar by leading their handbell choir. Judy loves ringing bells with the wRight Ringers Community Handbell Choir. She recently began volunteering at Mobile Hope, a ministry to two mobile home communities in MN, helping kids with homework and beginning a youth hand chime choir. She is also active with the Western District Justice Team.
At the Northern Province Synod of 2018, Judy was elected as a trustee of Moravian Theological Seminary. She continues in this position, now serving as chair of the Advancement Committee. She also was appointed to the Board of Lancaster Theological Seminary, working toward joining with this institution under the umbrella of Moravian University. She is excited about the additional opportunities that we will be able to provide students and faculty of both seminaries with this collaboration. She values the strong leadership in both seminaries that is moving us in good directions.
Judy is grateful for the opportunity to serve as an interim pastor at Lake Auburn Moravian Church.
